How it began
Ex-West Bromwich Albion & Southampton footballers, Bobby Dixon & Roy Williams, team up on a window-cleaning round between Hereford United training sessions.
1960
The business grows
The window cleaning round picks up several large window cleaning contracts in
Hereford and are invited to provide office cleaning at Sun Valley, Saunders Valve & Thorn Lighting.
1970
We expand our services
A carpet cleaner is purchased and added to the services provided. ABC Carpet and Window Cleaning Company is formed
1980
Clearview is born
The company is re-branded to Clearview Cleaning Services. Clearview Court is built in
Rotherwas, Hereford and Clearview Industrial Supplies is formed out of the cleaning
services. Both companies operate from the same premises for some time.
1990
Roy retires
Roy Williams retires; Eddie & Jane Nowosielski join her father, Bobby, in the business.
1993
We arrive at Catherine Street
Clearview Cleaning Services relocate to Catherine Street in Hereford
2000
Bob and Ann retire
Bob and Ann Dixon retire and Eddie and Jane are joined by Bob’s son Peter.
2015
Staying local
A decision is made to concentrate on business closer to home.
2018
Moving on
Eddie and Jane become sole directors following Peter’s departure to run his own
business.
2019
A new era
Concentrating on local business pays off and business is booming. A rebrand and new
website for Clearview Cleaning Services follows.
